What was this style of 70s/80s eyeglasses called?
I’m doing a bit of research for a character in my novel. It’s the mid80s and the character is the class gossip in high school. I keep picturing her with those BIG glasses.Those BIG glasses where the lens was big and round (or octagon) and round eyeglass frames titanium real glass and the frames reached from the top of your eyebrows down to the middle of your cheek and just as wide from side to side. And sometimes the arms of the glasses joined the eyeframes either at the middle or near the bottom and curved. Sometimes the lenses were tinted pink or blue?
