Getting lenses made correctly for your eyeglasses?
Do good opticians measure the area where your eye sits, to note the width of your eyes and also the height of your eyes to the particular frame you selected, to ensure that your lens is custom cut and made to have the RX sit over where your eye is on the frame & lens?I have had a lot of issues eyeglasses direct with glasses where I almost have to tilt my head up and the bottom part of the lens is where I see the best. It’s almost like they just threw the Rx wherever on the lens, without any regard to how high or low my eye sits with that frame and its lens.If so, I know the distance horizontally is the Pupillary Distance (PD).What would be the vertical distance of your eye relative to the frame since your eyes don’t always sit in the direct middle height of the lens?Should all opticians be measuring where your eyes sit both veritcally and horizontally to the lens to make sure you get your Rx right over your eye? If they don’t what do I need to ask for specifically to tell them?
