Comfort level and frame shape are two separate issues which should be kept in mind while choosing a spectacle frame for your eye glasses.Comfort wise I will prefer a fiber made frame since it is less prone to wear & tear & loosing shape fast and is lighter.Always use both your hands while wearing or removing it to give it longer life to retain it’s shape. Here are a few tips while choosing an eyeglass frame : 1.The frame shape should contrast with the face shape.2.The frame size should be in scale with the face size.3.Eye wear should repeat your personal best feature ( such as a brown frame to match brown eyes).ROUND : Around face has curvilinear lines with the width and length in the same proportion and no angles. To make the face appear thinner and longer, try angular narrow eyeglass frames,a clear bridge that widens the eyes and frames that are wider than they are deep, such as a rectangular shape.OVAL : The oval face is the ideal shape because of it’s balanced proportions. To keep the oval’s natural proportions, look to frames that are as wide as the broadest part of the face,or walnut shaped frames that aren’t too deep or too narrow.OBLONG : The oblong face is longer than it’s wide and has a long straight cheek line and sometimes a longish nose.To make the face appear shorter and balanced, try frames that have a top to bottom depth, decorative temples adding width to the face or a low bridge to shorten the nose.A good optician can help you to use these guidelines to choose your eyeglasses.

If they were made special to fit you, you shouldn’t be experiencing any kind of discomfort. Call them and let them know the situation. I would take them back where you had them made before your 30 days is up. Adjustments of any kind should be free. They better. I would be quite unhappy.

I have heard of people dying white sunglass frames w/ Rit Dye many years ago to get pastel shades.I remember that the article said that if the frames were nylon the Rit Dye would work w/ nylon. Now, I doubt if current glasses frames are made w/ nylon any more. But in the US, Rit Dye is in grocery stores and inexpensive. I do no think Fiber Reactive Dyes (Procion) would work. They bond with natural protein based materials. You could try a black Sharpie marker pen…just a thought. But you know what, if you got them at a real optical dispensary, like one that sells prescription frame,s I think they would replace them for free if they fade.

They look ok from that angle. They probably look better once they are on your face. I got glasses just recently and I got pretty self conscious about wearing glasses cause I had never had glasses before and I thought people would make fun of me but I have just been getting compliments. As long as you look good in them, you will be fine ;) Good Luck

Rather hard to tell anything just by seeing a frame that is similar to what you wear.Your own glasses probably just need a good adjustment. The nose pads have maybe spread out with time, letting them sit way too low.Go back to your optical store and let them fix it for you.

so go for the plastic/fiber one. I think it is better than the metal frame but it’s your decision! or you might want to wear contact lenses
