you have to have it done professionally. g have it adjusted to where you bought them. they have some device that’ll heat it up so they can bend it easily.

oakley titanium frames are in my opinion, probably the best. they are lightweight, have the spring hinges, and fashionable. other than that, anything from marchon that is titanium is great too. if your looking for a rimless eyewear, silhouette is the best brand. not only does silhouette have a two year warranty on the frames, but it is also widely used in NASA. hope you find the right one for you =)

It probably can be done. but its not as easy as you would think. You first have to take out the glass or plastic lens and any thing else that is plastic like the nose pieces and ear pieces. You can have done what is called a Hot Coat . That is where they dip the item in a dry paint of sorts and then while being attached to an electrical source and then heater to a certain degree it forms a very hard paint finish. But to be honest with you, it might even be cheaper to buy new frames because Hot coating is not cheap. And that is of course if you can find anyone around you that does it. A lot of car engines have parts that are done that way because it is heat resestant. Do A google search to see if you can find anyone who does Hot coating and then ask them if they can do it for you.

Rimless is probably a bad idea. They tend to be high maintenance and not for someone who has gone through 9 pair in 4 years. I would recommend a memory metal frame like Flexon from Marchon. One of there collections is even branded Nike. Most frames come with at least a one year warranty so I hope you didn’t pay for all 9 frames.

Is the solution specifically made for the lenses (like, you’re not talking about dishsoap or Windex as a lens cleaning solution, correct?)If so, yes, it’s safe. Titanium frames are pretty resilient anyway.

One of my coworkers had a pair of glasses made by Silhouette. They are rimless and had clear plastic arms and bridge. This is a link to their website. Unfortunately my computer won’t let me copy info from the actual website. Sorry. I have a pair with thin purple arms and bridge and they’re much less noticeable than my old glasses b/c they’re rimless. Mine were about $300. I don’t know about vintage frames.

Sign up for their affiliate program and get commissions from sales without paying for an on-line store. Obtain your own domain name and hosting and the company will provide you with all the promotional tools you’ll need to sell the frames. Check it out!

pure titanium is stronger but there are like other styles for sports that dont fall off your face and are purely for sports. they piece that goes around your ear, curves to fit completely around your ear, the lense is alot stronger and the frame is build thinker but its unoticable. i forget the name i will get back to u on that but i would look into those glasses

I’d go with a nice square frame, maybe in black or brown! It would be perfect for you!

I use dishwashing soap… it’s the best way I’ve found to wash any glasses… It works great, gets all grease off and doesn’t harm the glasses. Wash them in your dishwater, before washing any of your dishes. You’ll really be pleased with the effect!

Just reading the ‘headline’ of your question and without knowing you had a list, my first thought was polycarbonate. So… based on bits and pieces of related information I have accumulated in my head over the past decade, here’s my top 3:1. Polycarbonate2. Carbon fiber graphite3.(tie) Titanium / Flexon .

At pharmacies, they sell little eyeglass fix kits for like a dollar. It’s looks kinda like a clear tube with metal eyeglass stuff in it with a yellow cap. It’s usually at the counter.

The cheapest place I know of where you can get prescription eyeglasses is zennioptical.com. The quality is good for the price.

I really like the Zara glasses–very unique looking. 2nd choice is the Bvlgari. The YSL are ok, look pretty much like everyone elses, though.Another thing to consider is, how long do you usually wear your frames before you change again? If you change often–why pay more for a frame that will last a long time if you’re going to get tired of it anyway? The Zara’s are really cute and stylish!
