i think thats awesome that you want to be creative with your glasses!i’m not sure about the glue though, i think that you would use the kind you would use to glue rhinestones on a jean jacket or something.try your craft store or fabric store.

I have the same kinda body and hair and everything and I wear glasses. I actually used to have a pair of glasses that looked almost identical to those. And I ALWAYS got complements on them!

Lenscrafters sell Prada brand…they will be able to order the part for you, if it is still available.Hopefully there is a Lenscrafters in your area…check your phonebook.

Lenscrafters did it for me. I just gave them my glasses and prescription. You can also try a local glasses place to get them done, that’s what i usually do

You will have to go somewhere that has an account with Luxottica , who are the distributor for Prada , and have them order pads for it.Lenscrafters would be a sure place. They are owned by Luxottica.Nothing dumber and more annoying than when a frame maker uses parts that aren’t the standard.

I bought mine from my optomitrist. You can also get it from the chanel store, just have your eye doctor switch the lens. Thwy can do that for like 40 bucks.

1. Artsee on Washington and 14th Street in the Village – great selection of designer frames. My friend has gotten glasses there and was very pleased.2. Robert Marc Opticians – I’ve only dealt with the one on the upper East Side on Madison and 80th – I only purchased the frames there – I had my regular optician do the lenses, but the frames were wonderful (they were having a sale when I went there). They have a few branches – on Bleecker Street in the Village, on West 15th Street in Chelsea and on West Broadway in Soho – check the phone book. 3. I don’t know the name, but there are great looking frames at the optical shop on the first floor of the TimeWarner building. My friend was interested in the Gold & Wood frames ($850).

I’m not sure what the differences are, but down here in the US, optical plans typically cover one exam and one complete pair of glasses every 1-2 years (minus any deductible). My last pair was around $500 with the exam.As far as style, nearly every brand has some very nice, professional-looking choices. The most important thing would be to stick with a neutral, traditional color (ie: black, brown, silver or gold) and style. Make sure it fits your face shape, too. Poorly-fitted frames make for a very unkempt appearance.

I personally wouldn’t buy the blue ones. They are a bit bright… they aren’t “gay” though. The two first one’s are really nice though! But I would definitely go with contacts! ;D *they’re awesome!*

A] do not pick a yellow toned color, like tortoise, amber, or olive – will make face look sallow. Stick to ‘cool’ tones: blues, purples, grays. blacks.B] Review of glasses:1] great – try them in ‘ruby’2] OK in black3] try them in ’smoke’4] try in ‘havana’5] second fav – try ‘transparent’ or black 6] black7] least fav – black
