i must say that is a superb listi guess my only differences would be didier number two because he tends to excel for his country (40 goals 60 games) and cristiano has struggled on his national team lately, and rooney and drogba were more impressive this year.I would have julio cesar higher maicon is top 10 imo he’s just the most versatile fulback in the worldand if you put kaka ther based on brazil u gotta add robinhoNo Higuain?

yeah that’s what i was thining. BARCA is definately #1 over everyone thoughi do agree that Liverpool doesn’t deserve to be in Tier 1, but I do hope they have a better season and Torres gets back to them and plays to his potential. :) Arsenal desreves to be in Tier 2 in my book. I know u’ve got to look at the whole season, but 4-1 loss to MESSI??? wow.If they lost Fabregas, i’d defintely move them to tier 2

Lol barca would probs have 5 injuries per game!I feel sorry for every team in the world because soon, Arsenal will dominate world football.

I love your list and appreciate the hard work. Great going!I only question the notion that Premier League of England is rated 11, Primera of Spain is an 10 and Serie A rated a 9. In the only head-to-head competition between these countries (the Champions League and Europa Leagues), teams from Spain have several more trophies than teams from England. I think in the very least Spain should be at 11 with England, if not at a 12 above England. Again, great list :o )

Hope so. It’s been steadily finding its feet this gen, but looks like it’s starting to hit its stride. If online master league works out as good as it sounds, i may need to catch some imaginary illness for a month or so…

oh my god isnt that Marchisio on your avatar Miranda? love him!!!!it has been a great season in every single country, really exciting and in most of the leagues the winner wasnt known till the very last games! and one more great thing is that one club will definitely do a treble this yearcongrats ti the fans of all these clubs

Gonne be difficult, i mean if Madrid score 1, Liverpool will need 3, so Liverpool need to be cautiosI was really upset at the fact that Liverpool travelled 25 hours to madrid just to defend, and we came back with no away goal, that might come back to bite us.Yes we are at Anfield, but liverpool defence has been very shakey as of late, they are always concedingMascherano is vital to break up play, and with Maxi cup tied against his former club, Torres Kuyt and Ngog (thank god) apparantly injured, this is Ryan Babels chance to shine. He is faster and stronger the the athletico Madrid team, him and Steve Gerrard can make the difference.Remeber, Liverpool can easily win 1-0 and play extra time, 2-0 will take us through, but if they score we are in trouble – we have no away goal and.. The kid Sergio ‘Kun’ Aguero is back aswell. My Opinion Liverpool will win it 2-0 and face Fulham in a all english final.

i was a bit suprised with inter’s result but overall most of the games lived up to my expectations. I think this season real madrid, barcelona, chelsea and arsenal are going to be the teams who reach the furthest stage in the competition. but there is still a lot of football left to be played but my money would be on real madrid and barcelona to win the champions league…they are looking very hard to beat

roddysul September 24, 2011 at 2:15 am

while we did have Rafa we were very top of the rankings for a couple of seasons
