It means that the legs where they attach to the frame will be more flexible than more traditional hinges. So you can bend the legs out slightly to fit on to your ears and on the side of your head. They make for a more comfortable fit. x

Draw on it with silver sharpie marker, get stickers, you can even put tiny holes on them with a drill, but be careful.

I always have teething problems initially when I get a new pair of glasses.Your body will adapt itself to the frame-shape – though of course you should perhaps take the glasses off when they get too sore, and allow the area to heal. The pain you are experiencing just now is evidence of this. Plastic does have some flexibility – as you are getting used to your glasses, the plastic will settle into shape naturally.By loosening screws (even slightly), there is a danger that would lose the screw and possibly have an accident.

You can go to any optical store…that’s what they do.I would stay away from Walmart Optical and similar discount chain places though because they will send your frame out for at least a week to a central lab, that certainly aren’t known for quality workmanship.Many good optical stores cut the lenses right on the premises, so your frame won’t be sent away and possibly get damaged.

JB Quik Weld will work temporarily. It comes in two tubes that must be combined. Take a small file and rough up the surface of the frame on each side of the break. Once you mix the two ingredients together you will have about 4 minutes before it hardens. Keep the mixed preparation off of the frame until you just first notice a little bit of thickening then apply it rapidly to the broken area making sure to apply not only to the broken spot but also onto the frame to each side of the break. Hold the frame stationary until the mixture hardens. It will look terrible but it should do the job until you can get new glasses. Hope this helped.

if you want your face to look rounder wear squareish ones if you want to look it to look squarer wear rounder ones,heavy frames can take away from the face if you have strong features you can though,if you have delicate features(light eyes) go for thinner frames,do not go for frameless as they are both aging and unfashionable,get advice in the shop,try loads on and ask their opinion

As long as the frame is in good condition and as long as the frame is made for optical lenses then many places should do it. I would stay away from any old plastic vintage frames because they tend to deteriorate. Putting new lenses in them could damage the frames. As long as the optical has the appropriate equipment (most opticals have edging machines that trace the lens shape before it cuts them) then there should be no problems. The price will depend on what type of lenses you are getting . Whether they are prescription or Plano (non prescription) and if they are either tinted or polarized will make a difference in the price! You should expect to pay at least $60+ for new lenses! I would call around to see which opticals will do this for you!Good luck!

Simple adjustment of rebending the temple tips. Too much pressure due to an increased bend in the plastic.

Walmart, or if you find a good deal like a one time sale somewhere else. Actually you can also buy peoples old frames on ebay and switch out the lenses if you’re really thrifty.
