Hi there, yep St Moritz is a great place to ski in Switzerland, it has nice runs and the town is gorgeous. But as the others already corretly mentioned, is it also one of the most expensive ski resorts in Switzerland. If you can afford it, I would surely recommend to go there, because it is fun to see all these rich people party there.Living in Switzerland, do I normally prefer to go to other places for skiing on the weekend:1. Davos/Klosters – is very large and you have a variety of hills to choose from2. Wengen (Bernese Mountains) – big enough for me, very nice town and a fantastic view of the most famous mountains includign the Eiger North Face3. Zermatt (Wallis) – also very nice and it is stunning to ski below the MatterhornEnglish is normally not a problem in any of these ski resorts as there are visitors from all over the world.Ina

The main language is german and rumantsch (wich only native people speak) Since rumantsch is so close to italian people there do also know italian. St.Moritz is very touristy and thats why they even know english there. (I live a hour from st.moritz and I even write in english) ;-) so with italian, spanish and english it will be easy for you to get along.. thanks for your tip from the last question. cheers
