Get LASIK. No more glasses!
Hey there, have you ever considered ordering online? It sounds to me like you order glasses regularly and frequently. I’m sure the costs must be high. Ordering online can diminish your cost by a lot. Try http://www.optical4less.com This is my regular online shop which I buy from. They go as low as 15$ a pair for quality glasses. They have an virtual try-on feature where you put your picture on and place glasses onto your pictures, very neat. Ordering online is the only cheapest option, so try it out.And some in styles are :http://www.optical4less.com/plastic-eyeglasses/p113/http://www.optical4less.com/plastic-eyeglasses/p136/http://www.optical4less.com/plastic-eyeglasses/p134/These are some pretty good styles.
Yes, but don’t be surprised if you have to end up purchasing both new lenses and frames. I would take your glasses into your eye doctor’s (or public retailer) and see if they have frames to fit your lenses. However, if it’s been over a year since your last eye exam, and they are unable to find frames that fit perfectly, you will most definitely have to purchase both.
I have actually done this. I simply went to an ordinary optician and asked him to please put prescription lenses into my frames. It was done without any query at all.
Rimless makes it seem like you have nothing on, so I think those would look fine with anything. As long as they’re not a super noticeable color like yellow or hot pink!
I know of some-one that uses her old frame over and over because she likes it and doesn’t want to change. She gets a new prescription every year too. You could ask at a Lenscrafters if you have one near you. Or try J.C.Penny’s or Sears. If you do use your old frame and it breaks they may not be able to get another if it is discontinued. And then it would be very hard to fit those new lenses in another new frame. Sometimes they can’t cut down the new lenses to get in that new frame. Then you have to start all over anyway. So you should think twice on this one. Could cost you more money in the long run!
Most policies will have a maximum benefit for frames and most will allow you to get higher priced frames if you pay the difference. For example, if the maximum benefit allowance is $60 you can get frames up to $60 for no charge. If you want a $200 frame you’ll need to pay the $140 difference.
you can get frames from anywhere and any lens store should put your lenses in. you can get really nice lenses that are only $25 from rite aid
Probably a rectangular pair, they look good on most people.
You can easily check your minimal health care rates in internet, for example here – healthquotes.awardspace.info
Of course you can buy them online, and they cost much less than the ones sold in regular stores.
The Lion’s club, Any homeless shelter, Battered women’s shelter, Salvation Army. The frames are the most expensive part , so it’s a good donation.
Try Krylon Fusion for plastic. Follow the instructions on the can.
Its funny you should ask because i just bought some yesterday. I tried Gucci, Coach, and Armani before deciding on Versace. I can’t wait to pick them up. I think its just best to try them all on and see which ones fit your face. Out of the 4 i mentioned Gucci was the highest price, and i don’t think the quality is any different. So if price is an issue, go with Coach or Armani, if it doesn’t matter, go with look. Gucci was $399, Coach was $279, Armani was $249, and Versace was $299, just for the frames, lenses are more, but it also depends on Optical insurance coverage. I have VSP and i paid $190 for my pair, which included Tephlon glare coating and Transitions. ( i went to DOC btw )
Plastic frames are a lot hotter to wear in the summer, and slip a lot more . A good quality metal frame is much more comfortable and durable than a plastic frame.
I use silver solder!
You can try this virtual try-on page and select the right frame for yourself.Do pay attention to the detailed size of the frame you like. Maybe you can tellthe customer service about your needs, I think they can do customization.
their definitely unisex, anyway most big designers make all their glasses unisex except for the obvious pink ones with flowers on them, it wouldn’t even matter anyway people who ware glasses are super cool anyway, in fact i was in Paris last week and they were saying how a lot of people just ware glasses with clear lenses, big fassion thing right now
Personally I don’t think “inexpensive” and those brands belong in the same sentence, unless the sentence is “There is no such thing as inexpensive Dolce & Gabana eye glass frames.” Hahaha!!No seriously, I have no idea. I’m looking at a pair of D & G right now and they are $400.
