How to know if eyeglasses fit properly?
I think I have a large head (at least across my temples). Eyeglasses with plastic frames usually fit fairly tightly. The temples of the glasses have to bend slightly toward my eyes since the eyes of the glasses don’t completely extend left and right out from my face. The actual eyeglasses don’t fully extend out from my face, so the temples of the glasses must bend inward to accommodate.Nonetheless, I still really want a pair of plastic framed glasses, and I tried on a few pairs until I found a pair that fit best. Yet, I’m still not sure if they are suitable for my head. The glasses are RayBan RX5142, and they are sized at 52-17. I realize that this sizing represents the eyes and the bridge, but combined that gives you an idea of how wide the glasses are across the temples.Do you think this size is big enough for my head? How can I measure my head to find out? Is it fine if the glasses bow slightly, or is that to be avoided?
